You can bet if LH flys Boeing 777’s for a living, he did his homework on the MOONSHINE. When asked what his favorite component was “Pretty much every component on this bike but especially the Pike Fork”…Here is his build: RAW Aluminum, Pike Fork, SRAM X0 1×11 shifter, SRAM Guide RSC brakes, Thompson Covert Dropper seatpost, I-9 wheels, Maxxis High Rollers. Another humble DBC rider that absolutely rips on any trail from Mammoth to Moab.
When JS isn’t talking to trees, he is cracking the rest of us up. He is the guy you want with you on every ride keeping things light but gnarly. Not only is he a genuinely funny guy, family guy, a coach, and a decent aim, he can absolutely shred. His backyard riding is in NORCAL where you either man up or shut up.
December’s I AM rider, KW, is one of those incredibly skilled and humble riders, you know the ones that don’t say much and then completely shred the trail leaving everyone in the dust. The Blackjack really connects with riders like this. KW is actually building some of the best trail systems in New Mexico, if you have rode in NM you are probably riding a trail he built. This cat knows how to build the thrill.
DBC started the “I AM” campaign this Nov. 2015 to show the diversity of our riders. We think we have the best clients on the planet and we want you to see who DBC riders represent! Each month we will spotlight another rider and their DBC rig. JJ was responsible for our #justrideone Instagram board. We have watched him push his own limits, try more features, even throw his hat in the ring on some Enduro races. He has put more hours in on his saddle than even he couldn’t have predicted when he bought his Moonshine.
